Powder Brows

Powder Brows is a technique in which micro pigment dots are applied to the brow surface to create a soft, full, made-up look as if powdered. The result is the effortless, lasting version of brows carefully filled in with a brow pencil. The colour density is balanced from the front of the brow to the tail to create a natural gradient.

Who Is It For?

It is ideal for those who fill in their brows with a pencil every day, clients with oily, porous skin for whom the hairstroke technique is not recommended, and anyone who wants a more defined, clearly framed brow. Unlike the hairstroke technique, it gives a long-lasting, stable result even on oily skin.

How Is It Done?

After designing the brow to your facial proportions and selecting the pigment, a micro-dotting (pixelation) method is applied with a device; the colour is layered lighter at the front and denser at the tail. The treatment takes about 1.5–2 hours. The intensity can be set from very light (a powder touch) to defined (made-up) as you wish.

Healing Process and Timeline

• **Days 1–3:** The colour looks 30–40% darker than the final result; this is temporary.
• **Days 4–10:** A fine, powdery scabbing forms on the surface and sheds; the area must not be disturbed.
• **Weeks 2–3:** The colour lightens and then becomes defined again.
• **Weeks 4–6:** The result settles and the intensity is perfected with a touch-up session.

Longevity and Aftercare

Powder brows generally last 1–3 years depending on skin type and lifestyle; an annual refresh is recommended. During healing, avoiding sun, sweating, pools and saunas and applying the recommended aftercare ensures the colour settles evenly.
