Hybrid (combo) brows combine the natural texture of the hairstroke technique with the fullness of powder shading: realistic hair strokes are used at the front of the brow and along the top line, and soft powder shading in the body. The result is a balanced brow that is both realistic and defined, carrying the strongest sides of both techniques.

It is ideal for clients whose brows are so sparse or gappy that the hairstroke technique alone is not enough, and who want both naturalness and fullness. It is a perfect middle ground for those who love the naturalness of the hairstroke technique but also want the durability of powder brows.

How Is It Done?

After the brow design and your approval, hair strokes are first applied at the front and along the top line, then the body and tail are filled with soft powder shading. As combining the two techniques requires skill, the treatment takes about 2 hours.

Healing Process and Timeline

• **Days 1–3:** Both the strokes and the shading look darker.
• **Days 4–10:** Fine scabbing forms and sheds; scratching and disturbing must be avoided.
• **Weeks 2–3:** The colour lightens as the texture continues to settle.
• **Weeks 4–6:** The result becomes clear; the balance of stroke and shading is perfected with a touch-up.

Longevity and Aftercare

Hybrid brows generally last 1–3 years depending on skin type and lifestyle; an annual refresh is recommended. As the hair strokes can fade slightly earlier than the shading, a refresh preserves the balance of the result. Sun protection and the recommended aftercare are essential.
