It suits those with pale or colourless lips, people whose lip border has become undefined, those who want to reduce daily lipstick use and anyone looking for natural colour vibrancy. On dark or purplish lips, it may first be necessary to create a healthy base with lip neutralisation.

How Is It Done?

Your lip structure, skin undertone and natural lip colour are analysed, a pigment matched to your cool, warm or neutral undertone is selected, and your approval is taken. After a topical anaesthetic, the colour is applied evenly to the lips. The treatment takes about 1.5–2 hours.

Healing Process and Timeline

• **Days 1–3:** The colour looks noticeably darker than the final result; light swelling is normal.
• **Days 3–5:** The lips become dry with fine scabbing; use only the recommended balm and do not pick the scabs.
• **Weeks 1–2:** The colour lightens a lot (the "lost phase") and then re-emerges from under the skin.
• **Weeks 4–6:** The true colour settles and is refined with a touch-up session.

Longevity and Aftercare

Lip blush generally lasts 1–3 years; it varies with metabolism, sun exposure and aftercare. Those with a history of cold sores (herpes) are advised to consult their doctor and take preventive measures before the treatment. Keeping the lips moisturised and protected from the sun extends the vibrancy of the colour.
